November 2006

We had a fun trip to visit Wes' folks in San Felipe, Mexico, where they have a house. The beach was incredibly long and not crowded at all, and everyone was nice and friendly. We found sand dollars, clams, and lots of little snails. Quartz liked wading in the water, and he also liked geocaching with grandma and grandpa in their Rhino ATVs. Onyx liked sitting around watching everything that was going on.

(In case you're wondering about the sepia-toned photos, we took all our Baja pictures with a cheap digital camera that sometimes messed up the colors. The pictures look all right in black and white, though)

Quartz has a little preschool group -- a friend of mine is doing preschool twice a week for her two 2-year-old grandsons, and invited Quartz to join them. He loves it -- he always likes to shout out answers and tell his teacher about things.
