My Father taught me the art of the sword (he, like all able Saldeans, learn from infancy the art of battle). I was looking for more in my life than simply being a farmer/soldier, as my father was. Since I was the third child in my family with the two oldest willing to take over the family's land, I decided to travel the world more or less along my two childhood friends: Saateph and M'Att. M'Att met and fell in love with Kharo'lin while we were visiting Tar Valon. He accepted her offer of training as a Warder and bonding with her. About a year later, life brought me back to Tar Valon were I befriended Kharo'lin. I don't quite recall all the events that followed but somehow I ended up a Warder, and bonded to her. She has this way of almost always getting what she wants... I am the third who became her Warder, and I believe, although we are all three quite satisfactory, that she is searching for a fourth...
