Rwelean was born to humble Tuatha’an parents on the Almoth Plain. From these parents she inherited a great love of nature and serenity. When she learned she could channel, she insisted on going to the White Tower for training, and after 2 years as a Novice and three as an Accepted, she joined the ranks of the Yellow Aes Sedai. A staunch follower of the Way of the Leaf, Rwelean does not even use the One Power against Darkfriends or Shadowspawn, but instead follows in their wake to provide healing for victims of such attacks. She also enjoys travelling through the wilderness and healing various hurt animals she comes in contact with. She also is one of few Aes Sedai to visit the Stedding and talk to the Ogier there.
Rwelean's strengths lie in Water and Spirit, with a slight weakness in Fire. She is of medium height and has honey-brown hair which is usually styled in two braids down either side of her head joining into one down her back. She is rather quiet and reclusive, even for an Aes Sedai, often preferring the quiet of the woods to the company of others. She owns a ter'angreal shaped like a small carved wooden frog that allows her to sense the distance and location of nearby Shadowspawn. She usually wears light breeches and tunic, colored green, blue, or brown.
