Ariakas is one of the newest Aes Sedai. She is 6'9", with light brown hair that she always ties back in a ponytail, and black eyes. She is extremely strong and muscular, tending to make even Warders shiver. She has uncanny reactions and fighting ability, and is never without about six weapons, usually favoring swords. This makes the Aiel (whom she can out-fight) get incredibly mad at her, but she always just shruggs and says something in what sounds like the Old Tongue, ending with '...Legionnes Astartes.' Although she is technically of the Green Ajah, Ariakas often studies with the Brown, and is constantly around the Violet. It is rumoured that she makes weapons with the power, despite the Oaths, (which she actually does, in secret) and when under threat of Stilling, she just draws a weapon or picks the Aes Sedai threatening her up with one hand and says: 'I'd like to see you try, I really would.'
No one really knows much about how Ariakas came to be bonded to Tira Ra'Mandor; one day the would-be Warder went to talk to the Aes Sedai, and the next day Tira was the second female Warder, and the first to be bonded willingly.
Ariakas' background is little known, and she won't speak of it, nor will she say her last name or place of birth. She was found lying near the World's End, in huge white armour, with symbols of skulls with wings on them engraved on it. There were many others like that, but she was the only one alive, with massive injuries. Only a travelling Yellow Ajah Aes Sedai had saved her, and she was taken back to the White Tower to fully recover, in body and mind, for all they could hear from her during this trek were ramblings of 'Khorne' and 'To the Emperor'. After being Healed, Ariakas was released to Tar Valon, still confused, and when a thief tried to attack her, she just pointed to him, and his head exploded. She was taken back to the Tower for training after doing the same thing to the guards that tried to arrest her. Ariakas' powers were such that she became full Aes Sedai in a year, though she refused to take the Oath Rod, right to the Amyrlin Seat's face! Egwene was wise, however, and told everyone in the Tower that she had in the end taken the Rod, though she had not. Since then, Ariakas has been completely reclusive, sticking to her room and not taking part in Aes Sedai matters, not even caring about the Dragon and Tarmon Gai'don. Her only friend is a Violet (former Red) by the name of Kalia, who is just as mysterious. She is heard sometimes talking to herself about someone named Ezekiel, and another named Azrael.
Ariakas is not that strong with any of the Powers execpt for Spirit (and that is only guessed). Her real talents are her strange abilities: telepathy, telekinesis, lie detecting, and many other unamed abilities. She will never speak of these.
Only one other thing is known about Ariakas. She has a strange respect for anyone called a librarian.
