Not much is known about Das, he just seemed to pop into being. In fact he appeared in a village near Tar Valon where an Aes Sedai from the Blue Ajah named Tethadet Sedai was visiting. Das was horribly wounded and barely alive, a miracle he even got to the village. Tethadet Sedai Healed Das's wounds as much as she could, but some of the wounds were not as a normal one would be. Tethadet took interest in this man for that fact, but when she asked him about his past or how he was injured he will not say a word. Earlier he blacked out when he was aked, but now he will just stare at the ground. His wounds were eventualy healed while he stayed in the village and Tethadet stayed too, studying. But once he was fully healed he disappeared. When he returned to the village much later Tethadet was not there, of course. He stayed for a while and by a strange coincidence Tethadet returned to meet a Sister in the village. Tethadet sensed his presence and confronted him. Eventually they became bonded. After a long while Tethadet was killed by Sisters in the "non-existent" Black Ajah. Furious at the White Towers resentment to help him because Tethadet was killed by non-existent Sisters, Das became a wanderer, aimlessly traveling across Asthaenia (or Randland or whatever). Eventualy, Das returned to the White Tower. Das himself has no known origin, but his features mark him as an Aiel, but this is just an educated guess. Even though he has a troubled past (or at least, a troubled past as much as I know), he is very loyal. He is fairly tall, VERY strong and a Blademaster. He is also very educated.
