Born in the long lost Malkier, Eosha Valkyrie has witnessed many changes through ancient eyes as the Wheel of Times turns. Two hundred years of age, the only indication of the passing of time is her snow-white locks falling loosely to her waist, though none of the older Aes Sedai could remember ever having seen her hair in any other color. Yellow, golden eyes that seem to glow in the twilight characterize her ageless face. Being slender and 5'4'' tall, she moves lithely and gracefully. She is often seen wearing clothes in colors ranging from the white mists of clouds to varied colors of a crystal-blue sky at a midwinter dawn.
As a wilder, she has learned to channel the One Power on her own when her inborn ability manifested itself in her adolescence. Years later, she was found by an Aes Sedai who took her to Tar Valon for further training. Of the Five Powers, she has a greater degree strength with Air, Water, and Spirit. Her Talents are Healing, Illusion, and the control of weather, and recently, she has also mastered Traveling and Dreaming, with the ability to enter Tel'aran'rhiod.
Due to her reluctance to use the One Power, she developed a remarkable fighting style which only a few sisters, who happened to accompany her and her warder, have witnessed. In combat, an extraordinary long scarf, made of a light material and always a part of her attire, comes alive as an extension of herself. While she moves gracefully and swiftly in her dance of death, she uses her scarf skillfully and turns it into a deadly tool. At one time, the scarf would lash out as hard as steel, then, it would wrap around and trap the opponent. In addition, she uses a weapon in the form of a metal disk, with the edge sharpened, with which she slashes and let fly to return the instant it has hit its mark.
Historical records show that Eosha Valkyrie has lost three warders altogether, one of them died of old age and two in fierce battles against Trollocs in the Blight. Since then, she travels alone, and it is said that she is sometimes seen in the company of wolves when she roams the mountains and woods.
