6`2" with a lean athletic build, short blond hair and blue eyes. His most distinguishing feature is a tattoo; a yellow cat s eye covering his right eye surrounded by some blue fur. From a distance it looks as if he s got a black-eye but up close it makes him appear quite menacing.
Erik grew up in the city of Mayene, the second son of minor merchants. From early age he liked to travel, but his ability to do so was quite limited by Mayene s strained relations with Tear. The result was that Erik spent most of his youth in the rougher part of town taking odd jobs. During these years he encountered something that would have a great impact on his later life: the Great Cats.
Several times in his youth Erik met leopards belonging to foreign merchants, and was struck by the beauty and sleek power of the beasts. By the age of 19 while Erik was working as an animal trainer, training leopards and cheetahs as for nobles. His yearning to travel grew stronger. He quit his job and left the city, and went to the Drowned lands. here he met a group of hunters, from whom he learned to live in the marsh. From the Drowned lands, his travels took him to most parts of the Creator s palm (Randland). He spent several years travelling the Blight and the Blasted lands, where he met a few Aes sedai and their Warders, and was impressed. Months later when he was travelling to Tar Valon to Start training as a Warder, he encountered a Aes Sedai who was fleeing Elidia s rule. Erik instead went whit her to meet the "rebels". He has been whit Egwene s Tower for a few months now and has received the training the Warders could give him, at the time being he s still looking for an Aes Sedai, preferably a Blue, Green or Violet but any ajah will do as long as the Aes Sedai isn't a stay-at home type (Erik dosn t like to stay in one place too long) Currently Erik checks in on Salidar about once a week, spending the rest of his time "tolling" up the countryside.
Erik is a master of unarmed combat, and has been known to take down Myrdrall Whit his bare hands. Erik is also VERY good whit knives and quarterstaves (he hasn't yet been beaten in a staff duel) He has received the basic Warder training whit a sword but dislikes the weapon. Erik has A LOT of wilderness survival experience, and speaks the old tongue fluently. Finally Erik has got a very strong affinity for animals, which is strongest whit felines. He own a pair of trained cheetahs named Kzirah and Vindracer.
Softspoken and extremely strong-willed. Erik is quietly reserved, he makes few friends, but will go to any length to help those he does consider friends.
One recent day, after being told, that the mission she had just volunteered for was too dangerous, for an Aes Sedai with no Warder. Crystalle Sedai (Krissy) was walking around camp. When she spotted Erik Claine, comming into camp. It ticked a memory, she had recalled, that he had no Aes Sedai. About five minutes later Erik was suddenly a full-fledged Warder. And Krissy was packing, for the mission.
