Jaaxeb Qe'Thirlas stands at about 180cm tall (slightly over 6"). He has dark hair and hazel eyes
(browner closer to the pupils). He is of medium build. He is bonded to
Crystalle Sedai of the Violet Ajah. He had been suffering from amnesia for the past five years, but for some strange reason his bonding to Crystalle has caused his memory to return, and the truth about him is shocking. Jaaxeb is an immortal.Jaaxeb's real name is impossible to pronounce to those who are used to this language, but it could be translated to 'Worldstrider'. He isn't really a 'He', his kind don't have sexes, it's just that his current form is male. He has existed for as long as the universes themselves. As he is not native to this world, he is unaffected by the Wheel. Being outside of the Pattern does have some dangerous side effects, however. If he is not careful, he himself could break the threads of those around him by doing something rash. This has roughly the same effect as balefire, he tries to avoid ta'varen as he does not know what would happen when two come close He has a power, not anything resembling channeling, but something else that all his kind have. It is something of an energy transformation power, and he draws energy for it from everywhere. He can absorb any channeling directed at him, if he so wishes. This also applies to the effects of sa'angreal and ter'angreal. His greatest power is that of being able to jump between worlds and dimensions at will, but he is unable to take anything with him, all his clothes are left behind. Whenever he comes to a world that is strange to him, he can automatically take the form of natives, or his previous form. There are only ten of his kind that travel the worlds, they only meet in non-existance, as the mere prescence of more than one of them in a single world could lead to disastrous results. To prevent this, they can detect where all the other members of their kind are. He never uses his powers unless it is a dire emergency, such as stopping the very fabric of space/time from rupturing. He knows what the Dark One is, and knows how to stop him. To tell anyone, however, would most likely result in what the Dark One is trying to do in the first place. The destruction of the Wheel and the reformation of the world in his own image. Jaaxeb does not know why he remains on this world. There are many more worlds that are certainly more interesting. Maybe it's just because he has started to grow fond of this place after five hundred years of living in it. |
