Joslyn Damodred flipped her shoulder-length brown hair behind her shoulder and surveyed her play room in the Sun Palace. As niece to King Laman, she received all royal priveleges, including those dratted lessons on Daes Dae'mar. She thought that she could play the Game of Houses in her sleep. The door to the playroom crashed open and her cousin and friend, Moiraine Damodred, stalked in. Blue eyes flashing, Joslyn regarded her with barely contained anger. Her cousin had once again gotten her in trouble and sent to the play room for "Time Out". Unfortunately for Moiraine, Joslyn's temper was extremely flammable and uncontainable. Suddenly, things started flying around the room, cracking mirrors, breaking priceless Sea Folk porcelain. The door crashed open a second time. Shariya Sedai, their uncle's Aes Sedai advisor, walked in, aghast. Shariya was weak in the power, and therefore not able to sense the ability to channel in either of the two girls. In less than a day, the girls were bundled off to the White Tower for further studying.
Soon after entering the White Tower, Joslyn's uncle cut down Avendoraldera and the Aiel War started. Angrily, she demanded to be sent home, but was denied because of her great ability. While there, she became friends with Siuan Sanche, but parted ways with her once rising to the shawl. She was accepted by the Blue Ajah, and traveled to the Borderlands to help fight the Shadow. With a slight ablilty as a Dreamer and a little of the Foretelling, she knew when the Dragon Reborn was found and proceeded to the White Tower to announce the news and receive instructions. When Siuan was deposed, she traveled to Salidar and supported the rise of Egwene al'Vere as Amyrlin. She's currently traveling with Lord Bryne's army.
She has recently bonded a very young man named Mattrim.
